The mission of the W. Bernard White Education Foundation is to assist in the development of future African-American engineers in Southeastern Michigan by providing financial assistance for scholarships and text books, in an effort to ensure these students have the opportunity to excel in their studies and graduate.
The Foundation endeavors to award scholarships and financial assistance each year to African-American high school seniors from Southeastern Michigan who qualify for financial aid. Applicants must have a minimum 3.0 grade point average and be accepted to a four year college curriculum as an engineering or technology student.
